My little sister is starting to get into singing to add to her dancing/acting career and she was really keen on doing a cover of a popular song so I decided to help her out by producing a song for her in my studio.
The song is "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster The People. I'm not a fan of the song or the band, but I think she did a great job. She managed to do performances in entire continuous takes which is something that I've never seen a singer in a studio do before...
The rhythm tracks are the Marshall JVM with a very slight crunch but with quite a bit of layering. For the leads parts I really cranked it though.
She'll probably end up being a lot more successful then her big brother :laugh2:
