My wife has given me a hard limit on how many I'm allowed to have

Mine haven't given limits but every time she passes in front of the corner where my guitars are she looks at them with a mix of horror and homicide distinct, although she agrees they're a nice piece of furniture when unplugged

My wife has given me a hard limit on how many I'm allowed to have. Ergo, on how many I'm allowed to make. Or keep on making. There is not enough room in her opinion, so I guess I will really make my final guitar sooner rather than later.

Anyone in the market for a 3 humbucker LP with trem? :17:

I tried. She has a hard limit. In fact, I have to dump guitars in favor of... a cat scratch pole. The issue is that my wife makes 4x what I'm making so all the best I can afford, she can top me four times over.

She's not against the guitars, but the fact that my house is 100% me and she wants more comfort. I don't care about the couch, I want(ed) to work on guitars anyway, but she works from home, and does care. It's a space-issue, not guitar issue. So I'm making, or keeping, the most awesome ones at home, and the rest I will park somewhere.

i had a similar space issue when my gf/now wife moved in. i have a small house and lived as a bachelor for a bunch of years, so took some time to adjust but its fine now

One has leather recliners, a big TV, the Christmas tree etc...

And one has amps pedals and guitars.

actually, in my entire life, I've never found ANY girl happy with a new guitar at home and I'm quite old by now. More, I don't know any friend of mine in such a happy situation, so, a question arises spontaneously, two actually,, a) where do yo live B) has your wife any sister available?
