I think I'm finally ready to go ahead with the vintage P90

Neck position. In the bridge is a JB. The guitar is a swamp ash body, maple neck G&L fallout. 500k pots.

I also considered the antiquity as well as the Gibson P90.

From the official pickup sound clips, it seemed like the vintage had more clarity, definition. At first I was set on an A2 based P90 for a bit of mellowness, more rounded sound.

What are your thoughts? I know some of you have responded to my general P90 questions before and I appreciated them. Given the details of the guitar now I'd like to know what you think.

My favorite neck pickups are:
59 HB
SSL-1
Antiquity 2 Jazzmaster

If that helps to describe my tonal goals...

I've no experience with Duncan Vintage P90 but what I've heard from demo videos and audio clips it retains sparkly high end some higher output P90s (like SP90-2) tend to lack. Also, taking consideration that your fav neck pups have scooped midrange with plenty of highend snap, I would try the Vintage P90 first and then other variants if it doesn't give the sound you're after. Hope this helps.
