Try the JB in the bridge. Its ballsier, hotter, and just plain better. Today I tried it in a USA Jackson soloist through a soldano and a VHT and it absolutely killed.
FRED is a sort of hotter P.A.F Pro...and a very cool pickup. Also...the Original Parallel Axis may get close to that "hotter PAF PRO" sound. It's kinda voweled and quacky like that.
