Monty-Jay said:No, the fiber optic strands are 100% hidden in the fretboard's underside. When I mentioned the treble side, I ment the under side of the fretboard, about 1/4" away from the treble side is where the route starts. You can think of it similar to how the e and B string look in terms of width in relation to the fretboard. That's basically what's going on except the strands are placed into the route and sealed in there.
