Ibanez AH-1 and AH-2 pups, anyone know the wiring scheme? look inside..(please)

Thanks for coming in!
These have a red, a white and a shield.....one wire measures 8.9K, the other wire measures 4.9K when tested to the shield.....how are these supposed to be wired up? If I just go from red to white I get 4.5K? I mean I would expect another wire in there???? If you can clear this up for me I thank you in advance. Anyone know how these sound?

You have this:

They've just used 3 wires instead of four. Peavey does this also. The wire that measures 8.9k to sheild is the "main" hot wire. The one that measures 4.xk to the others is the "splitting" wire.

So to use normal, just use the 8.9 and tape the other? Thanks for your help!
