So i have bought an ibanez GSA60 and now It's time to plan some upgrades when money comes due december 24:th. The hardware i already know what I'm about to buy but when it comes to pickups I'm not to shure but i have an idea and would love some inputs, I'm going for a mix of metal/rock/jazz kind of sound and It's leaning towards these pups.

Bridge: JB Trembucker since i love the sound and the guitar has a tremolo for rythm overdrive sound and clean rythm .
Middle: SL59 1N for clean lead and rythm
Neck: SHR1N for the overdrive solo and lead riffs.

Don't know If I should go with 250 och 500 pots, any inputs are welcome.

The AMP I'm using is an Orange crush cr120h with an Orange PPC212OB cabinet.

Sounds like a nice set of pickups. I'd play that set in a heartbeat.

I'd go with 500k pots. Remember, you can always turn the tone knob down to lessen the brightness (with 500k pots) but you can never increase the brightness beyond 10 on the knob (with 250k pots).

give us some clips once you get it all squared away.

Re: Ibanez GSA60 HSS pickups

Awsome thanks that was actually my biggest question with the pots, it's freekin hard to know which ones to buy, not sure if i'll have the funds to buy the pup right after christmas because i want to upgrade the hardvare on the guitar first to my likings although i love the guitar and she is easy to play she still has some trouble with staying in tune and since i want a black theme that goes well with the walnut finish I'm going to replace most of the hardware with black hardware first and then do the pups.
It should all be good and done within the next 2 months tops and i promise ill give you guys both pics of the finished product and clips so you can hear her purr as well
