Ibanez S520 ans SC420 for classic rock?

Hello I am new here. I have finally settled on two guitars and would like to customize them to my preferred taste. I have two Ibanez guitars that are simalar.

1. S520 with locking trem, two humbuckers, 5 way switching, natural stain finish.

and

2. SC420 hardtail, two humbuckers, 5 way switching, normal poly finish.

What SD pickups could i choose to put in these to get classic rock tones, for example AC/DC, Led Zep, ZZ Top? Or, is too much of a range?

Thank you.

HMMM those are thin guitars and that affects tone. They can be a bit focused and mid range-y.

If you go DUNCAN, hmmm try the A2PRO / JB combo which works well in the smilar shaped MOORE Guitars. Also Consider the A2PRO / CC combo.

I actually think Dimarzios are great in Ibanez's. Do consider the VPAF sets or The Air Norton with a BREED or Air Zone. The AN won't ever sound too brutal for classic rock in the neck, but a bridge Dimarzio might be a touch modern. I recommend the Dimarzios because they are dsigned to fatten these thin bodied guitars.

For a middle single coil - hmmmm you have a ton of choices as well.

Thanks for the reply. I will have to do some researh into the Dimarzios then because I don't know much about them. I agree these gutars are, but they're very easy to play and comfortable. These two do not have the middle single coil.
