Ibanez SD-9 love or hate??

got an oppurtunity to get an ibanez SD-9 for cheap.. ill find out if i get it in a few hours.

anyone got any comments to make on this pedal?? harmony central give great reviews but those guys dont know what theyre on about really.... =\

the tube screamer is the all-time fav ibanez ped. i guess but this is supposed to be 'a TS on steriods' i play medium/high gain metal/punk and need a thick gainy rythm sound that doesnt get too messy with the gain levels i need.

Only you can decide on this one. One thing I do know though, is that the tone control is virtually useless above 2.

Something about the mids all disappearing. Many prefer to keep them at 0. All the way down.

Good disto for sure, an overlooked pedal by Ibanez....have one...but my buddy is borrowing it!

Ok, its Ibanez 9 thing and RId likes it .... great guys, thanks, now I want another thing, thanks for making my GAS ubearable, I barely have the cash for my P&J/Re-bias procedure, and now this ..... sometimes this place is just evil.
