I bet StratDeluxe can make it sound great.
I wholeheartedly agree. The TS7 even has the same chip as the TS9. If you look inside the battery compartment, though, you can see where the switch has faults. It's the big footswitch coming down diagonally onto a tiny little switch which engages/disengages the effect. It has its moments where it just doesn't switch on or off. If you're gigging, and need something with reliability, you might want to look into one of the other Tubescreamers.FireBros. said:I've had more problems with the switch on my TS-7, than any of my other tubescreamers (ts9, ts10, & ts5), but the sound wasn't as bad as some people make it out to be. They are real cheap, and very close to the old TS sound, even unmodified.

STRATDELUXER97 said:The schematic in itself doesn't explain why the pedals sound different...I can walk the walk with this stuff... You still sound more like a parts replacer and you are missing the concept behind the mods and where to make the changes within the circuit because you are copying what you see on the IndyMod paperwork....The best way to really learn what is going on within your pedal is to make a change, listen to the change, take notes, and make more changes...The schematics(if you really know what you're reading)put you right in touch with not only the component values, but also the whole scoop on the circuit..Sorry to sound so mean my friend, but I read alot of your posts and you're just all over the place! :smack:
