So what? I actually thought it was. If it's made in Mexico it's still probably great quality and just means it'll be up for a decent price!!

Both companies make very fine, professional products used by the artists we all look up to. Both companies make products intended for the beginning guitar player. Both companies market their product lines to a multitude of player demographics. We'll all have our personal preferences, but let's not assume that means that because one company is better suited for one player means it's best suited for all players.

I think this argument is more pursuasion to hold the same opinions. Sure you can never really say that it is 100% fact that one brand is better another, however I think there's factors that can make one brand arguably better than another.

mexican made fenders are good guitars but not nearly as good as the american ones. i'm surprised that you didnt already know this, being the expert on everything fender. go play a mexican strat then an american one and you will know what i'm talking about.

I NEVER said Mexican Fenders are better than Americans. However, about that power Tele, I'd still buy it if it were MIM because MIMs are of good quality, especially for the money, and every now and then you get lucky with one that is as good as an American. I would say the Japanese Fenders give the American ones a serious run for their money!
