Iceman update

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
So we had a corporate/charity gig last night. It was a "James Bond" theme, so we went as the Hollywood Henchmen - available for Children's Birthdays, Bar Mitvahs, Major Heists, and Plots to Control the World. See us after the show....

Anyway, I have been playing the crap out of that Iceman lately. The thing is just a player. Smooth low action, light weight, and 59/C5's. So I took it for a spin.

It played and sounded great! Nice chunking rhythms, crisp cutting leads, and very easy playing including upper access. I should have got one of these earlier. Not mention Evil Villain Band good looks!

I'm putting this in my "Top Axe" stable along with my BC Rich Bich...those two, strange as they are just kill!

Those are the reasons why it has been my No. 1 since I got my first one in 1980. They are also very comfortable to play and well-balanced. Glad you are digging the axe.

My 73, 79, and Budokan Les Pauls are #1, #1, and #1 tied for 1st. But the Iceman and the Rich....are 4 & 5.

nice

I pulled out the IC-50 the other night for rehearsal since I have used it in a bit. Super D/59 setup forgot how much I love it

Curvy audience you have there Aceman. All in a night's work I guess. Won't even need a pillow if you crash on the couch.

My Les Pauls have put the Iceman on the sideline a bit more since their acquisition, but I have gigged with the Iceman more than any other guitar.

I feel like I'm having deja vu.

I take breaks from here, then I come back and there seems to always be an Iceman thread of some kind lol!

Anyways, that looks great on you, man.

Looks goes without saying. We were in "Evil Henchmen" mode because the gig had a James Bond theme.

That said, I was really surprised at just how comfortable it was to play live. I'd rehearsed with it a few times, but it just played fantastic in every way.
