Hello everyone,
Recently I've posted a video imagining if Jake E. Lee, as one of the tone kings from 80's and early 90's, would play ZZ Top's hit "Waitin' for the Bus".
Sad news arrived two days ago about Dusty Hill passed away, such a bad coincidence and a great loss for sure... This band is one of my major favorites and I was hoping to see them again someday and somewhere in Europe.
Anyway, with Jake E. Lee and Billy Gibbons being in the top 5 of my guitarists I'd come up with idea a month ago to play this song like if Jake would. Using my Fender Tom Delonge Stratocaster with JEL-style pickguard loaded with Seymour Duncan TB-4 and two DiMarzio SDS-1s hopefully gets me close to Jakey's tone though the pedal/amp chain doesn't have anything to do with Marshalls he used.
Hope you like this take on the song.
p.s. Rest in Peace, Dusty, you'll be missed dearly.
