Ok I’ll start if money wasn’t an issue and any brand out there would build you a guitar what would it be ?

I’m a sucker for an old lespaul but sadly I haven’t found one that I really wanted since I played buddy’s lp custom.
I’d go Gibson

Basically an exact copy of a 79 lp custom with theTriple grade A Birdseye maple top and the t top pickups and bigsby

I´d be happy with a Musicman Silhouette (Special) with a Luke 3 neck and a nice transparent finish - maybe something like a sienna sunburst - and a nice low output HSS set.

That's a tough one for me. There are a few I would like to own.

Jackson. - I've always wanted one of the original Phil Collen models with the arched top (not the later Dinky inspired ones, although I do like them, too). Also, I'd a replica of my old '89 Dinky, and my old SLS sunburst.

Collings. - A custom CJ-35 with "fancier" woods and a natural finish top, or a City Lights Deluxe maxed out with all the options.

Santa Cruz - A custom Vintage Southerner.

Gibson - One of the custom Pearly Gates replicas and one of the Ace Frehley Budokan replicas.

An electric guitar with sympathetic strings with a pickup under the sympathetic strings. But not a Coral : Either a super wide neck for bends up to 7 half-tones OR a super high action for slide. All strings going through the same bridge.

Otherwise I do not need a custom build just modelling existing models is enough in general.

I would like my signature guitar

My Ehdwuld branded LP shaped semihollow

With a slim 60s neck
19mm at the nut /21 mm at the 12th fret
42 mm nut
peizo bridge

JB/JAZZ with triple shot rings

Locking daddario tuners

super light weight
All the hardware blacked out

Black binding on a blue burst flame:9:

Like JB, a PRS with rosewood neck would be a great start. The final product would basically be a Custom 22 w/ classic PRS trem. Color and top would take a while to decide and I'd go with cavity covers that match the back wood.

For an acoustic...probably get Falbo to make something like a dreadnought that just rings like a bell but looks a bit understated. Bling on an electric is one thing but I tend to like acoustics with an understated look.

I lusted after those Model 1s for a few days in December
they will build to order whatever you want

For a price

I cant justify that price

Something based on an Alembic Tiger but with Duncans and all splits and eq options.

Or an ES-295 with a Bigsby in either natural or traditional Gibson tobacco burst finish.

Or something from PRS, some hybrid of elements of the Santana and McCarty with the Paul’s guitar wiring maybe, and best woods they’ve got.

Or a Zemaitis classy steam punk Les Paul type. LOVE those.

Phiga Guitars in Brownsville, Texas.

Get a gold one like Danny Gatton had.

A vintage one made by Tony, or an Asian one?

Thanks for the tip.

I want to see the wood grain, hence the different finish. There were a handful of burst 295s made in the 50’s custom order. Pretty rare, but that’s what I want. But even better (to me) would be natural, similar to a byrdland/275-whatever model.

I haven’t thought through the PRS one enough because I’ve only played SEs and never believed I’d ever buy a real one, so haven’t looked into it enough.

Vintage Zemaitis is what I want, if money weren’t an issue. But I’m willing to consider an Asian one if money becomes an issue and provided I can play it first.

Pawn shop Fender ax. 24.75 scale hardtail strat based shape. Maybe change the outline a bit. I'd put a single coil sized hum voiced like a mustang in the neck, a mini hum voiced like a duo sonic slanted right behind that in the neck 2 spot and a hum voiced like a jaguar in the bridge but maybe at 1.5 or 1.75 inches from the bridge.

I think I'd spend some time at the EBMM factory, having them swap pickups into 3-4 of their body styles (the ones y'all hate, mostly) and then have them paint it some obnoxious sparkle.
