I can't decide between Gibson and ESP.

It would depend what style of music I became famous for!

for an electric guitar probably gibson.

for an acoustic guitar probably taylor or martin.

I'd also probably consider Washburn.

Were it Fender it's be a 70's heasdstock/logo tinted maple neck, 4 bolts into a swamp ash body, vintage trem(stock 5 springs down to body), black with BWB pickguard, H H korean active pickups(available at rondo end of the summer...). Possibly the word 'Dead' in cursive engraved into the guard. Mexican made, fretwork spec of hte highest order. Medium frets, 9.5 radius, stock with 12-52 strings in standard. Biotch!

Washburn would be a black Idol, MIK, chambered all Sapele body, no F holes. Same pickups(I love those things), No inlays on finger board white binding on everything(WHITE!) kinda pointy Les Paulish pickguard. Once again, BWB with 'Dead' engraved into it. Large brass 'SG' type bridge, brass tailpiece.

Ibanez would be based on the old Roadstar, basically identical to the Strat, but with Ibanez's latest 2 point trem(as seen on SA2020) and a plain maple top over alder(for strength agaist the 12s).

mine's being built by JohnJohn right now...of the namebrand companies out there.....Hamer for sure!!!

Tele body semi-hollowed like a 335 with carved birdseye maple cap, and back like a B. Moore, dual nickel covered hums (59,customcustom), lp 3-way, lp knobs/push pull pots, hipshot hardtail bridge, sperzels, mahogany neck with birdseye board (monaco shaped), 22 medium jumbo frets, 25 1/2 scale, three cross inlay at 12thfret, all finished in Butterscotch/butterscotch ghost flames, with transblack back, flamed maple binding........the "TeleHoss"

I know that it's not MY signature guitar, but I want one! Anyone who says that Gibson sig. models are all the same needs to take a look at one of these . . .

I've already had one made by a local luthier (www.jacaranda.it) but if I had to go for one of the "big" companies I think it would be Fender. They can really make cool guitars when they want to.

If I were to have a sig. guitar, I'd want it from a company I know will produce nothing, but absolute gems. I'd go with Don Grosh :fing2:
