We are given the store cost amounts of items in store and the new Mexicans cost less than the old ones but will be selling for more. We have not received any 09 american models so ill get back with you on pricing. No word on Squier. Maybe but probably not. Squier hasnt done any revamping really except for the Classic Vibe serious which are actually selling okay.

An email I got from The Perfect Guitar (.com) said that the American Deluxe will be selling for $1600. That's up from $1225.

What a bummer.

And I though $1000 MIM "Road Worn" candyass relics were the sign of the apocalypse.

For the record the new Fender Road Worns play and sound amazing. Especially the tele with the big fat 50s neck on it. They are about $150 to expensive. If they sold for between 700-800 it would be a lot more realistic. The relicing aspect of it is really up to opinion. Its like buying pre ripped jeans, some like it some dont. But for those people out there that just want the look of an old fender and cant afford to shell out 10k for a beat to hell 60s strat it makes sense. sorry for getting OT. just had to defend one of the first guitars fender put out that i liked in years.

The roadworns are all based on a template of some particular old guitar they used as a model. youre just splitting hairs.
but we have also yet to sell one. We've had them for about 2 weeks now.
