I've uploaded a few shots of my control cavity. You will notice that one of the pots sits in a depression. For some reason the company routed out the hole for that pot a little deeper. Why? Seems very strange. So I'm looking at this and then looking at my CTS pot assembly and realize I won't be able to install the metal grounding plate that comes with the new pots. It won't sit flush in the body with that depressed hole in there.
So one question is if I just say the hell with the metal grounding plate and simply install the pots alone can do I need to install some kind of grounding wire to make up for the fact that I'm not using the grounding plate?
I hope my photos gives you guys some info to help me out.
