I'm getting some signal bleed on my amp switcher.

Digitally Challenged
When I'm set on 1 amp, I can faintly hear another amp trying to push through. The switch box is a Voodoo Lab, and I've never had it do it before. The only thing I can see is, 1 of the connector jacks is touching another. Can that cause signal bleed since it's technically shielded at the jack?

Re: I'm getting some signal bleed on my amp switcher.

That might not be it, but it may also be. I'd just try putting a piece of non-conductive material between the two jacks to separate them.

Out of curiosity, if you use one of the amps that's not hooked up to the jack that's touching the other jack, what amp (or amps) are still in the mix? Can you only hear another amp when you're using one of the loops with connecting jacks?

Re: I'm getting some signal bleed on my amp switcher.

I'm not sure what it is man. I've taken it apart and checked it step by step and it's still doing it. It only does it once I've got all 4 amps plugged into to the switcher. Maybe it's just too much for the switcher to handle. It's about to drive me nuts!

Re: I'm getting some signal bleed on my amp switcher.

The thing has individual outputs, with their own transformer?!?
Then they should not be able to see each other, yep I would contact Voodoolab as well....
Should not hum if it is made like that, but have never seen one on the inside.
Have a friend who has one though, no troubles...
But then again, that means nothing, since you do have troubles!
Hope you will get some answers!

Voodoo has great customer support in my experience. I'm sure they'd work it out for you if you contacted them.
