I'm real impressed with the Schecter XXX

Just got it from Mike and its a smokin guitar. Grover tuners, TonePros T.O.M and Mike had already installed a JBJ in the bridge. Sounds great, stays in tune and the setup is top notch. The binding and finish is excellent and the neck has a comfy feel, even though its slim which I usually don't prefer. I'm especially impressed with how long notes sustain. These are great guitars for the money.

And...FWIW, the Duncan Design in the neck is no slouch. It sounds pretty damn good. Kinda reminds me of a cross between a Jazz and an APH-1.

that's why that guitar was my main guitar for quite a while. i have/had tons of guitars to pick from but that one always spoke to me and felt/sounded/played great. i picked that one out of 4 of them at guitar center and it was the best of that group for sure. the JBJ kills and the duncan designed version of the jazz in the neck cleans up real well and sounded all around good so i never bothered to change it. i'll miss it and i'm sure i'll regret that sale down the road but as of now my Clone guitars come first! don't forget it also has a push pull coil tap on the last knob (tone knob) for both pickups.

Nice guitars but I still hate the "matte silver" type finish on the hardware.
