Cant you replace the front row of poles with flat no-head poles? So the cover sits against the plastic of the bobbins like it should, and then put the back row on? Then heat it up to re-flow it.

That would work too. Allen screws can be had for like 30 cents a piece at the hardware store too. Of you could put a spacer under one of the coils and make an Air Invader. :scared:
