But I had to whore my gear a little bit..I'm really proud of the gear I've managed to put together over the last year or so....so I wanted to share :)

I won't label everything since the labels are all in my signature and if you want to see closer pictures of anything in particular, just click on it in my signature :)

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

it's a les paul studio standard that was flood damaged...a guy took it and stripped the whole guitar and put his own custom copper/gold top on the guitar....it's kind of a cross between copper and gold and looks really great...cream binding, I had to put the logo back on the guitar....and I got hte Duncan 59's from a guy for $50 for the pair (GREAT deal)...I love that guitar...it's a sexy beast in my opinion..it's beat up looking, even the logos I put back on the headstock aren't perfect (you can tell that they were put on there because it's risen up around the logo)...it's got SO much mojo..you can't buy that kind of vibe :)

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

now all you need is some skill to play :)

j/k nice collection

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

The essentials. I'm not kidding, the longer you play guitar and buy instruments, the more you gravitate toward a good tube amp, a Les Paul, Strat, and Tele. It doesn't matter what you play or own over the course of a lifetime, if you're for real, those are the things you end up with. Everything else is a stepping stone.....somewhere in the middle of perfection. Some may scoff, some may have a differing opinion.....sorry, you're wrong, I'm right. hahaha

Yawn... seen it.

J/k mang, that's a killer rig you've got there! Good amp choice ;).

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

the start headstock, as far as I can tell is normal color...it's same color as all other strats I've seen :) I love my gear as well.....I always felt that if you have a good strat, tele, and les paul and a tube amp, you can cover almost any tonal avenue you want to! All I need now is a good ES-335 like guitar, and I'm set :) actually, Big Black's Blueshawk with the P90's has been really tempting to me....*sighs*...it never ends does it?

So far, I think I'm on the same track... just add a Jazzbox in there and I'm with ya ;)

check ebay for a dearmond starfire

great guitars, but never really got popular

fender moved it to squier for awhile, discontinued now but one of my local shops got one in, they only want like $450 for it

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

well I had one of these at one time and MAN I loved that guitar!! I can't believe I was a moron and got rid of it...I will probably get another one and put some 57 classics in it or maybe the seymour duncan equivelant....

Re: I'm sorry, I really am....

It's a Hamer, what do ya expect? it's an import they do called the Echotone...but man, it's all maple, very well built...the only downfall is the duncan designed pickups....they'd have to go, but man it was a great guitar...loved it, and I'm kicking myself for getting rid of it, but it did in the long run help me get my Mesa/Boogie..I can't begin to explain the chain of events between then and there, but getting rid of it did help me get my mesa :)
