Re: I'm waiting.

I have a tracking number, and there's a familiar face!

LOL, my excitement over this thing has me bursting at the seams.

When you step on it, your chances of slipping are very low.

Re: I'm waiting.

It's finally moving. Seemingly designed for life on the road, it comes with its own running board.

Re: I'm waiting.

Hey - I had THREE guitars, an awesome amp, and an imaginary rock star w/ Cameo's....

Good luck. The bar has been set. Feel free to walk under it.

Re: I'm waiting.

I've read that it's based on a Dual Rectifier.

Re: I'm waiting.

V Twin is indeed Dual Recto based!

Ram that into the clean end of a loud tube amp and get donkey punched right in the gonads!

Re: I'm waiting.

I used to use one in front of a TSL100 half-stack in a warehouse space. It was a monster.

Re: I'm waiting.

When I bought my Helix last year, Sweetwater was out of stock for a month. I live in Indiana so when it came in, I waited like 12 hours or something for it to arrive.

Re: I'm waiting.

I have a clothing purchase from two weeks ago that's supposed to ship June 15 -- just in time to catch the back edge of the May 31 - June 20 delivery window. That's right, keep your delivery commitments. But just barely.

June 15th? Summer's basically done at that point.

Re: I'm waiting.

I used a V Twin for awhile. I am not a Dual Rec fan, so I didn't get along with it. It was very 'direct' and in your face...I think modern high gain pedals do that sort of thing better these days due to the expanded EQ on most of them.

Re: I'm waiting.

The one I used to have never sounded in-your-face to me. I always felt I could get what I wanted out of it with the 3-band EQ and what was on the amp. It would cut, but it was like warm, dark liquid. The compression and dynamics seemed really natural, continuous, and musical. To me it sounded like a great amp rather than a pedal.

Re: I'm waiting.

i had one for a long time. great little box but doesnt sound very dual rec to me. warm dark liquid is pretty accurate for the solo channel
