I've got a couple clips up on my brand new myspace music page. They're both quite brief, but it's just a quick clip of some clean playing with Mullard EL34 and JJ 6L6 tubes in the Splawn. The playing is crappy, it's quick and dirty, and let's face it, the differences between the two are QUITE subtle. But there they are never the less. See what you think.

there really is too much compression. like the el34 tone better though.

Wow, that IS really compressed, isn't it? I'll try to record a couple more tomorrow and play with it a little bit.

playing sounds cool. 34s still sound better, but it's still really compressed.

I know. Couldn't do much about the compression. Thanks for the compliment though. The 34s feel a little better too. The 6L6s make me feel like I have to pound away at the strings.
