In need of pickup advice

I'm looking to get new pickups for my guitar. It's a Les Paul style. I've already decided that the BRIDGE pickup will be a Seymour Duncan Custom, but I need to find a NECK pickup that'll go with that. The music style I play is mostly Metal, and Classic Rock so I need to choose a pickup suitable for that style. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :burnout:

Re: In need of pickup advice

i generally just use the bridge for metal and hard rock, what do you want the neck to be used for? ( the same stuff?) for classic rock the pearly gates, aph-1 and the jazz are all good. id go with the pearly gates , thats the next pup im going to buy.

I Reccomend the Jazz Humbucker - a great neck pick-up, would work well for the styles you described.
Rock On :13:

i have to say a 59 would be a good match in the neck position, great for that classic rock sound.

I vote for the Jazz.

It's my favorite Duncan Neck Humbucker.

Nice and Creamy, Like a Neck Humbucker should be !!!
