In the mist, dark figures move and twist, Was this all for real or just some kind...

I know the problem! You're sitting down...

My old music room was 12x16, my current one is 9x10. I just don't have much space to move around anymore. ;)

refresh my memory please - why'd you buy this again?

I had one before and it sounded awesome once I swapped out the pickup. I wasn't bonding with my Godins so I decided to give this one another shot. Since I don't think much of working on guitar bodies (especially on cheap guitars), I snagged it.

I actually had a chance to do some work on my pleasure to thrill custom this week. I really should just finish it but i have had so many other projects and jobs come up its been put aside.

So it's just too hot in my garage to work, so I'll be leaving this as is for now. Assembled it and played it, Dimarzio Crunch Lab with the bar towards the neck. Sounds... beastly. :D

The sanded parts are only really noticeable when you look for them, and it made it much more comfortable to sit down and play on. I might pick up another one and reshape it more than this one, just to have it be slightly different.

What? No wild refinish?

I'll wait for fall or maybe winter for that. It's 100 degrees in my garage, just too hot to spend any amount of time in there. :D

Edit:

I'm actually renting here from a rental company, so it's probably best that I don't paint while I'm here. The owner of the house is extremely particular. The first few days I was here he had the rental company fixing every tiny little thing possible, and he was here to inspect it.

In a year we'll probably either be buying a house or renting from family and that'll be a house that I can use however I want. ;)

B_tch, I'm from Michigan, I wear shorts when it's 35 degrees out. This 115 degree sh_t sucks. Our A.C. went out a few weeks ago and it was 91 inside the house.

Not to mention I'd probably have to set up a Dexter-style clean room in order to paint here, the owner is *extremely particular* about his house. (I'll use G-rated terms to describe him.)

It's a dry heat. SHould be good for the paint to cure quickly....

:)

I thought that before I moved down here, actually. It's just the actual spraying while in that heat. No need to heat up the spray cans first though. :D

Besides, the "dry heat" thing, while true, only makes about a 10-15 degree difference. 120 is still like 105, which is damned unbearable. Today because of the tropical depression that's coming through, it was 90 with 50% humidity, so it only felt a little cooler than those ridiculously hot dry days. I was able to turn off the "max AC" button in the car, but that was about it.
