It's the best smartass post I could come up with on as little thought as possible. My serious answer would be that the "best tone" is purely subjective. If you can say the amp does what you want/need it to, you enjoy it, and you feel you got good value for your purchase or build then that's the best amp.

Can't buy this guy new today,but I can and have done everything our band does and needs to do,with this amp and some pedals..

you have that amp, and you spout **** about modelling amps, and reissues . How is it you dont even know ? Your crazy.

I Like anything that sounds good forum bro..I can talk both sides..I prefer tube amps though.. ;o) I Know alot having modded and repaired "many" old tube amps...Fender,Marshall etc...
