In Your Opinion, What Guitar Brand Holds The Record For The Coolest Headstock Shape? What Model Of Guitar From What Brand Holds The Record In Your Opinion? I'm personally gonna go with the Gibson Les Paul Headstock............ :32:

I really like the PRS headstock, the Schecter headstock on my C1+ (which is nearly a flip-flopped PRS it seems), and also the Ibanez headstock. Something about playing my RG, with it's long neck and pointy headstock, it feels like I'm brandishing a sword .

Yeah I know I can't pick one...

Fender.....The Fender Stratocaster shape(Smaller headstock)does it for me..

The PRS is funny....I Played a $3000 Custom 22 and I didn't see all the hype in it? I'd rather have 2 nice strats,over 1 PRS axe,but it was just me I guess? I was weened on Fender and Gibsons and it's going to make me very partial..The PRS stuff seems to have a stereo typing of metal style players...I can only think of a few Rock players that use em...Alex Lifeson,Santana,Schon,David Grissom,and then I draw blank?

On New Year's Eve, one of the country bands opening for The Charlie Daniels Band had a lead player running a PRS through a Fender combo (not sure which one, it was a 2x12", I want to say a TR maybe?) and it sounded GORGEOUS.

I see your point as far as not many pro rockstars use PRS's. I can only think of one other person to add to your list that plays PRS's......... Mark Tremonti of Creed & AlterBridge (2/4 of Creed).

Les Paul Standard - sexy like a beautiful black woman :32:

Fender reverse '60s big - It is just cool. period. :smoker:

Dean big Vee - it is the most badass devil-horn design I've ever seen on a guitar :saeek:

Warmoth - there is nothing special about it, basically it is a PRS shape but it's simplified just the way I like it.

EB/MM 6+2 - it is a nice parody of the Strat headstock, amuses me much.

The fender strat headstock (smaller design) is ingenious. There just isn't another headstock that is so readily recognizable. No other shape seems right on a strat. I've had many strat copies, and nothing really sits well with me until I replace the necks with a fender style neck replacement.

The only PRS worth getting imho is the Santana III's or the McCarty's. A friend of mine has a McCarty and it's tone from heaven.

although i don't own one and am not a huge fan of the body shapes i have to vote for this bc rich shape...i love this thing, so evil looking...stick this on a black with white binding les paul shaped body and i think it would be pretty sweet/evil looking...

i agree very cool and very evil look to it...i think i just got an idea for a warmoth project and that shape headstock may have to be involved! anyone have one that can give me some measurements?
