No doubt about it in my mind.....Les Paul Custom, complete with aged binding, diamond pearl inlay, and gold hardware. Out of all my Gibsons, PRS, and Fenders, THAT headstock is the one that I love staring at. Looks like a vintage Cadillac!

The best IMO, is the Schecter headstock on their soloist style guitars. Just looks brilliant.

Although the Gibby headstock is also very "OOOOOOO... LOOK AT ME. I'M SO COOL CUZ I HAVE ATTITUDE BUT I'M ALSO SOPHISTICATED"-like.

It always depends on the guitar. You can't put "The Best" headstock in every guitar. That said, ESP pointy headstock. 2nd would be the BCRich pointy. Pointy headstocks rule!

I'd prolly have to say the 70's fat Fender Strat headstock also.

Although I really dig the headstock on my '85 Aria Pro II. It's sort of a cross between the Fender and Ibanez RG. Kind of like a Fender with the round "ball" flattened and smoothed out.

standard strat headstocks... closely followed by gibson les paul, then 70's style strat, then tele.

My favorite is the early style G&L, S-500 headstocks. The earlier they are the bigger they are! Second choice would be a Gibson headstock.
