FuseG4
Our Neighbor Totoro
I had two amps but the cheaper one, a Bugera v22 doesn't power on anymore. I tried tubes and the fuse looks good but I had to pull it apart to see the fuse and I just thought I would like to be done with it
Main amp is a Princeton reverb ri, the 68 custom one!
I just ordered a second one to go with it. Got a great deal!
They are just like a regular Princeton reverb but the negative feedback and some tone shaping stuff was changed for a little bassier tone and more frying bacon overdrive.
Running stereo wet/wet with delays reverbs and chorus for like... Ambient stuff, dreampop washy stuff, general droning.
Had a hard time not selecting a different amp for variety's sake! Like I looked at ac15, blues jr, Peavey stuff, orange stuff marshall stuff, deluxe reverb,
But it sure seems easiest to deal with phase issue things with two of the same amp and it should sound a little more "accurate" for stereo fx... Like would you put headphones from different brands on each ear for just listening back casually? I wouldn't!
Feels a little like a missed opportunity to have two different amps cuz I like what that does for overdrive tones but can always go wet/dry/wet later or change it I guess! But I'm running out of space for gear xD what a good problem to have in a way. Times in my life I was broke and couldn't afford to even think about a two amp rig
I got six years out of that bugera v22! For the $225 I paid for it that seems amazing to me.
