Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

Lord, having that level of tweakability - it would be just paralyzing to me.

Having a tone knob in addition to a volume knob is a lot to wrap my head around lol. Nevermind effects loops with adjustable boost, tuner/footswitch outputs, etc.

If I knew how to work an amp like that, though - I bet I would love it. Congrats.

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

Great amps. Best advice I can give you is to read the Owner's Manual thoroughly. I print a copy of the Manuals for my amp and keep them in a binder.

And don't hesitate to call Mesa's Customer Support guys if you need help.

Enjoy!

Bill

Mesa has the best owner's manuals of any amps I've seen. Great customer service as well. It's a different culture than most amp companies. :D

Super cool man. Congratulations. I miss having a Mesa Boogie around so I've been kicking around the idea of getting a Roadster or Mark V.

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

And the beast has arrived!!

Here are my pics!! Thing is mint!! Just dust on the amp!! Immaculate!!

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

General Mesa tip for anyone interested:

Start with your master volume at 12 o'clock and your channel volumes all the way down. Bring in channel volume to taste and then go from there with your master volume.

Alot of players have their master volume all the way down and crank each channels volume and then complain about "Mesa Tone".

Start with your Master @12.

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

thats awesome, I dig that the pedalboard (can we say control center???) designed for the amp is almost as long as the amp

I tried this with my Recto & it did make a difference.

Re: Incoming NAD!!! Mesa content... EXCITED

Only one tip comes to mind, and that is to remember to stop playing long enough to eat, excrete and sleep during that first week. A good player keeps themselves healthy. :)
