Incoming NGD = The crown jewel of my collection

I know, this is a teaser thread. I've never done one before!

My fiancé got me a guitar. She knows guitars, can hang with the best of them, and boy oh boy did she not disappoint!

I have to say, I am a lucky guy, and my guitar collection is really coming along. I will have it by the end of next week ; it's getting a few adjustments in the shop before I take her out into the world.

She wil be joining my Les Paul Traditional, my ES339, my J-45, my Strat and my 12 string Takamine in the regular rotation for gigs and jams.

Take my word for it though : this will be the crown jewel of my collection. I am so excited, this is going to be the longest week and a half ever.

Wowza. Thta collection you already have that you posted is cream of the crop. This better be good.
I love the fact that you have so much going on there versatlitlity wise. You pretty much have all the bases covered.

Man i feel the excitement too !! Going next wednesday to 3-4 music stores, narrowed down to 4 guitars I cant wait to try em all in detail ! Guess we'll have your NGD followed by mine!

My guess is gonna be a PRS.

Thanks for the manditory. I think there a few musicians who use one. I'll try to find some.

I'm gonna have to say something expensive. I'm gonna go with a EDS-1275. You're not lacking in 6 strings, you have a couple acoustics, and a hollowbody. The only thing missing is a 12 string electric.

Congrats! Can't wait to see what it is! I will be getting the crown jewel of my collection on Thurday or Friday... So there will also be an incoming NGD from me too.

My guess is something LIKE a Telecaster but not an actual regular T. That pretty much means a Relic Nocaster, a La Cabronita or an Esquire.

Seeing as this is the SD forum, it would super cool to get either the Fender Seymour Duncan Tribute Esquire or a Tele-Gib.

EDIT: "Crown jewel" suggests a connection with royalty. Tele a possibility. :scratchch How about the Anniversary model Hohner TE "Prince" signature re-issue.

No I didn't do it out of spite. It's just whenever someone asks what guitar they should get or to guess their new guitar, someone always says the Hello Kitty Strat.
