A channel that is STONE DEAD is very likely an easy fix. It may be missing a valve, or a wire or component lead has become unattached. Intermittent or poorly-performing channels are the ones that can be tricky to diagnose.

I've no doubt but they either have to have it fixed and guarantee it or give it to me at a silly price to cover my ass in case it is the proverbial can of worms
