I checked immediately after purchase and it's back to "currently out of stock", so I'll be a bit sore if they send me an email saying I just missed it by "that much" :lol:


Should be here Monday Feb 1st. :D

I love the SLS headstock, especially on Vs and Warriors. I've seen a true Les Paul copy that Jackson made backinnaday with the 6-inline Rhoads headstock, and frankly, it looked like crap.

Though the SweeTone/Morton/Jazz'R headstock woulda been just as nice, IMO.

Gratz! I'm thinking about one as well, I love jackson's and I feel that I need another single cut in my life. Many people complain about the headstock, I think it looks amazing and without it, it wouldn't be a jackson

If they had put the regular Jackson pointyhead on it, I probably would not have gone for it. The Custom Shop I saw some years ago was on Ebay, and went for like $1200 or so. It was just too fugly to bid on.

There's just one teensy problem - it's coming via F'edEx, Monday, and I work nights, and F'eDEx usually gets here between 9am and Noon, which means I'll be a-snoozing when it hits. I took the chance and unchecked the "require signature" box. I live in a rural area with no "I can hear your stereo" neighbors, so not too worried about theft. Hopefully it won't be raining its head off like we had for Christmas :/

I like it. Sexy. I like the body shape combined with that headstock shape. Also, the quilted maple w/ burst finish is very nice.

The way it looks at the moment, you may be right :/

Typically F'edEx gets here around Noonish, and UPS hits me between 5-7pm. Doesn't seem like they'd be so busy - in this area - that they're out so late. Oh well, hopefully whoever has it is enjoying it. Luckily with Sweetwater you get pics of the actual guitar, with serial number. Should make filing the report easy.

Delivered 10 minutes after I left for work. Typical. Lucky someone was home to get it off the porch.
