Inlays design for 12th fret

Hi guys, so I'm making a custom neck with maple and rosewood combination, pretty common I guess.
The question is since I want to make my fretboard as clean as possible, I'll only need the 12th fret inlays, but I'm confused with the design. Could you guys help me, sending a picture would be extremely helpful. Thanks

Your question is too open-ended. Narrow the options down a little. Even a list of things that you definitely do not want will save others from wasting any effort on a possibility that you have already ruled out.

You don't need inlays at all. They are wholly optional.

Side inlays IMHO are a must. "Face" inlays can be omitted.

I'll only need design for 12th fretboard inlay, and the things that I don't want are the size should just fit in the 12th, if it is big then it should ONLY fit in 11th, 12th, and 13th fretboard. Don't want a too complicated design also. For now I think that's the criteria I need

take a look at sodom's bernd "bernemann" kost guitar

it's flat fretboard looks very cool with only the S on there and the beer caps on the knobs pop out of the simple look of the guitar

This dude has some rad dot inlays with cool patterns. Easy enough to just drill the hole for it but also with the added mojo of the celtic design.

I did this ring inlay on a project. not everyone's cup o tea but i certainly like it and its easy to do. I would like to do a fruity coloured guitar with different inlays like on those jems.

I'd go for no inlays (apart from the side ones) and at the 12th get a MOP block with your name in it.

Just inlay the number '12'.

Or if you want to get real existentialist, inlay the 12th fret with the number '11' or '13'.

Or even '42' if you want to get real deep and meaningful.

Or the words 'The Buck Stops Here', as we all know there's no money beyond the 12th fret.
