PRS has birds. You could try wombats, koalas or 'roos. Maybe, even, alternating dingos and babies?

It's actually an old guitar of mine that had a bad neck, now I'm replacing a neck

That's more or less the shape of the neck and headstock, tell me what you think

Why not have the inlay the same shape as the headstock?

You could use my method with the rings but make them into a knuckle buster and Inlay them with stainless steel tubing. :headbang:

I've used brass tubing and filled the center with.... shell, black epoxy, maple, or......

Well man you don't really need to fill the center if you use one of those leather punches and a drill press. Well that's if you want to use the same wood as what surrounds it. :9: have you been doing any building? love that avatar.

Finally still have no inlay, but probably I will change my mind later, the guitar is being played by the luthier
