Installation of Hot Rails to Standard Strat failure

I'm trying to install the rails into my bridge pickup on my strat, i've taken everything off and installed everything, and I'm getting no sound out of ANY of the pickups. I connected the black wire to the switcher where the old bridge pickup was wired, then soldered the red and white wires together and then finaly soldered the green and bare wires together and soldered those to the back of the volume pot.

I suspect it's the grounding on the volume pot, as at this point the pot is entirely covered in solder (don't ask)

Help!:yell:

No sound at all is actually a good thing (as problems go, that is) becaue it means you have simple connected your hot and ground signals together somehow---which shorts out all sound. Check ALL of the connections that you made. Especially look for places where you may have dripped some solder down from a hot connection to a ground.
