anyone know how it would be possible? custom pickguard? if so where to get one? or a ring for it? i found this part #pc761 its the middle black one on the very last picture on that page.

anyone konw if this will work, or any other way of doing it? thanks.

Re: installing mini-humbucker

They won't fit without modification. I'm assuming those are standard humbucker size pickups in that guitar- P-90s/minis are longer than a standard humbucker, so you'll have to rout wood, also the pickup mounts to a bracket affixed to the body. You'll also need a new pickguard.

Re: installing mini-humbucker

Search the archives, I posted about this at some point before when I converted my Agile LP Jr from P90 to an SD Custom Mini...

Basically you can use threaded inserts glued into the wood to create the pickup mounting screw holes, and then use the Gibson trick of soldering a nut/ washer onto the screw so the pickup will move up or down as it's screwed in or out.

Re: installing mini-humbucker

i know how to do it on a les paul, i have it on my les paul right now. my problem would be putting one on that guitar i showed in my first post. i dont know much about those guitars, but im scared that maybe the cavity is too deep for the screw or something like that..
