Instructional Dvds??

I'm wondering which instructional dvds are worth taking a look at. I'll probably start out with one of Paul Gilbert's vids. I'm getting a new amp in a couple of weeks and I want to step up my "game".

I'm not looking for anything too fancy, just a vid that has good licks, clear instruction, and technique that can put be to good use.

Re: Instructional Dvds??

check out some of the stuff from lick library. they seem to have a wide variety of styles. licklibrary.com is the website.

Re: Instructional Dvds??

Petrucci's Rock Discipline is one of the better ones. It actually teaches to play more efficiently and stuff. Not a lick monster!

^^ yeah,I understand what you saying. After I posted that I checked youtube for gilbert lessons. I think I can use his stuff for exercises but that's about it though. I'm looking for something with a little more to offer. I'll check out Petrucci and the lick library, thanks guys.
