Interesting Bass

Sausage Gravy
I don't own a bass but figured this item on Reverb.com would generate some interest over here.

Re: Interesting Bass

I would seriously injure my right forearm, wrist, and god-knows-what-else playing this. Too many sharp edges protruding everywhere!

Are you saying you will not suffer for fashion?

It does have that '60s/70s Japanese 'cool' appeal. Thumbs up for me.

Agreed. My initial thought of "Wow, that's ugly," was "I'd really cut my forearm up on that thing."

One of my first basses was my '76 Rick. I played that for several years before I switched to Fenders. I used to have to duct tape my wrist because since the Rick has no forearm cut the binding would chew up my arm. This beast would do serious damage and probably shred the duct tape.

Re: Interesting Bass

Definitely not for Flea-type slappers. You'd need precise finger and arm control to keep from snagging stuff.

That's the sort of stuff I'd have to cut shallow routes to mount rather than just tack/bolt/nail it onto the surface.

Then again, there's the Halford Warrior....
