He's not my cup of tea and I find him a bore to listen to, but I don't think there's much of an issue with WHAT he is saying.
He mentions that he can recreate vintage tones with modern materials and advertises the use of poly wire and polycarbonate bobbins for his PAFs, which give him more control over the formula compared to historically accurate components. Makes sense to me.
