International Luthiers Supply ... comments?

Re: International Luthiers Supply ... comments?

GAAAAHHHHHH!!!

These look EXACTLY like the "Axl" kits that ´have been available in Germany for about 10 years. I made the mistake of ordering one once, sent it back for numerous major flaws, next one wasn´t the least bit better..... Never bought one again...

I dunno if they´re the same kits, but if they are (and that pic is frighteningly familiiar), then I´d recommend steering clear ;)

You could try one of these kits,

Granted, some of them are set necks so, it will be alot more involved than a strat project. Dont bite off more than you can chew. I have seen them in person and theiy looked decent but, I didnt spend much time looking at them and paying attention to details.

So do they make kits that only require turning a screwdriver? :D

How do they compare to the bodies at StewMac? I'm thinking of making prototype guitars that I will be showing around. The Grizzly Industrial ones look almost too cheap to be true.
