Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

And such an auspicious day to announce it's release too - April 1st!

:headbang:

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Wow, this is gotta be the most elaborate April Fools joke ever.

You ACTUALLY built it AND went on to make a demo of it.

CheerS!

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

I suspect the pickup story on this day is an elaborate hoax to divert attention away from the fact that Seymour is now twelve feet tall. :D

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

I totally fell for it. Not only was it here and the blog, but facebook as well. Just seemed like a regular SD posting. Now I don't feel so bad for not understanding the point of it. haha

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Ha ha ha! But I want that little S.O.B. for my banjo! Is it available for sale (seriously)?

You should drop the Custom Shop a line and see if they are willing to part with it or plan on keeping it. Either way, I know they could make another one.

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

A perfect pickup for Van Halen's Little Guitars... Seniorita Im in trouble again......

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

I was so confused when Scott Olson came up to me late last week with that guitar in one hand and a video camera in the other. No clue that it was for an April Fools' joke until a minute or so before he started filming.

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Sadly, it won't work with TC Electronic's new pedals with "string economy."

It hadn't occurred to me that they might sell the actual joke pickup. I was thinking a 4-pole version for banjo/mando. Hmmmmm....

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Forget the Little 59, how about the BIG 59? How does it sound with an A8 magnet???

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Tbh I'd like one as a necklace. I'd also want the huge pickup for a coffee table.

Re: Introducing The Little Little '59

Very nice, I think that is one "mini-humbucker" after all :p
