invader and distortion together?

thinking about pairing up a distortion and a invader in a gison sg standard. has anyone paired these up before?

which one in which position? should be a versatile combo for heavy rhythm with the invader and sharp leads from the distortion. you mean the sh-6 duncan distortion right?

yeah the duncan distortion. im thinking about running the invader in the bridge and the distortion in the neck.

should sound decent, albiet reeeely warm in the bridge. invaders are notorious for having low end to spare, but if you have a tight amp it shouldn't be a problem. actually it'd be great for riffing and real heavy work.

I've been thinking about this same combo I've been umming and ahhing about which position would be best, though, as I like to use the neck pickup for leads, and to sort of even out the pickups a bit

ill be running it through a peavey 6505 with a orange 4 x 12.
