Hey its me again the last time i put the invader neck model on me ibanez now im thinkin of chnaging it with my les paul classic neck pickups so wuld tat be a gud idea i heard that the sound might be to muddy. If its to muddy den maybe ill consider putting it in the bridge position.

Re: Invader for the les paul

The Invader neck position in the bridge of a LP might be OK. If you put it in the neck of a LP it will almost certainly be muddy! If you put a brige position Invader in the bridge of a LP, it will most likely be muddy also!

I think this post is total trolling. Look at his name and his terrible grammar.

Re: Invader for the les paul

I am looking at the tone specs for the Invader, which is T:4 / M:8 / B:7. It seems to be pretty high in Mids and Lows. Might sound muddy in a Lespaul's bridge also.

For lespauls to be honest, You may need something like the Duncan distortion, which has a bit more highend and a bit less Lowend.... but it compliments the body tone of a Lespaul very very well.

With the Invader, it may sound thick and fat, but it might be a bit too bassy and muddy.

hope that helps!

Cheers
