I droppe dthe Invaders in my Hamer Newport Pro the other day because I HAD to hear what they were like. I can honestly say that they are:
a) not as loud as everyone says
b) not as bad when played clean as everybody says
There's a *slight imbalance between the neck and bridge outputs (the B model goes into clip very fast). I think I need to remove the capacitor on the neck pickup. But overall, I'm going to like these! They're not meant for this guitar, and in all fairness, the Hamer has excellent acoustic properties, which may be why it sounds better clean. Anyway, it was fun, and I can't wait to hear the series-parallel-split-out of phase tones. :fest7:
