I'd fight you with my meat sword but you'd be on the floor before the bell even rang.

Re: Irrational amp lust - Hovercraft?

Pack your cockerels away, gents. The Caribou is to be produced someday in the not-so-distant future.

Re: Irrational amp lust - Hovercraft?

UGGGGHHH ****ING SHUT THE **** UP

I SAVED UP ENOUGH FOR A DWARVENAUT and then I saw this OR120 and I'm all "Oh **** I can make that happen it's only twice as much" and I mean I'm totally stoked because that amp is Hailsatan ****christ YeahIsaidit heavy but NO MASTER VOLUME IT HAS TO BE POUNDING THE DEPTHS OF MY HEART'S VAGINA TO GET DISTORTED which I totally love but I can't do as often as I want to SO NOW I HAVE TO BUY A ****ING DWARVENAUT AFTERALL.

Doomed World Problems. I used to make memes of myself. I should start doing that again.

Since your OR is a reissue, you could always get it modded for a PPIV master volume. That would turn it into an Orange Overdrive which is an awesome beast of an amp. The thing that realy surprised me about the one I played was that it sounded really good at a volume that wouldn't annoy your neighbors, and it only got better as you opened it up.

Re: Irrational amp lust - Hovercraft?

Cool I am trying to talk my bass player into a new head, this could be useful ammunition...

My girlfriend doesn't call me anything because she's my hand.
My girlfriend speaks to me regularly, saying exactly what I want her to say, because she's my guitar. Cue Edgecrusher's signature.

This is the fate we people who are endowed with superior taste in music, and others in general who would stand apart for the sake of what they believe in as right, freed from the shackles of insipid popular culture, have to be resigned to; sticking out like a sore thumb, staying on the verge of being socially unacceptable and being uncool all the time. However, I see it as worth it trading in a shallow, mundane life, with nothing to leave behind at its conclusion for a life in relative isolation and ostracisation which could leave a
lasting impact in some way on the world.

All in all, though, that scenario generally never reaches such an extreme with metalheads. Mainstream culture is now much more acceptant of them in general.

It can work to pay off in terms of giving you more time, space, and a sense of individuality, which we know, has given rise to do many geniuses in the past. Keep your head high.

I think I barfed...

On a lighter note, the Dwarvenaut is still going strong. I was playing it l was night and decided to see just how much low end I could crank out of it and it actually pushed the screws out of the back of the cab.

All the sudden everything sounded different so I look over and the back fell off. It was pretty cool. (Cheap particle board sucks.)
