Is a LP junior the only electric guitar you ever really need?

I love single P90, all-mahogany slabs but I would feel bereft without a Blackguard Tele and an alder/rosewood Strat.

Maybe, if you're in a Mountain cover band.

No, that would cut out the SG jr.

regan? is this trickle-down guitar playing we're talking about?

Re: Is a LP junior the only electric guitar you ever really need?

Trickle-down economics was a theory championed by the fortieth President of the United States Of America.

Apologies to beaubrummels. By explaining his joke, I have, effectively, ruined it.

It should have been called bubble up, because it was the largest wealth transfer from the working class to the upper class in American history.

History has proven the premise of trickle down wrong.

Everybody knows that. The problem is how to convey the reference without naming the fortieth President or appearing to discuss Politics, thereby attracting an infraction.

I'd be more likely to play one if the p90 were in the neck or middle positions. Like most mahogany short scale (Les Paul style) guitars, they tend to be fairly harmonically dead/simple slabs of wood which make them sound great when played loud, and kind of lacking or flat in a lot of other settings.

No, it is not the only electric I need. It's not even one I'd consider. It's like a pretend Les Paul IMO.

OMG no. I won't own any one PU guitar. There's too many tone possibilities you give up.

Is a spoon the only piece of cutlery you ever need?

Harmonically dead? Simple slab of wood? LMAO. I can play 24.75" scale guitars and even mahogany ones in any setting besides loud and make it sound good. This is a terrible statement. I know you're a Strat guy but this is way off even for a biased opinion.
