Is it just me or does the marshall guv nor sound crappy

i just recieved it today and i must say. Its pretty crappy. I dont really like the sound at all. my danelectro black licorish sounds way better. But it could be because Im using it through a crappy bronze bc bitch warlock. What do you guys think? Do you like the sound? or do you recomend that its just the crappy warlock?

It might on certain amps, it is molded after a 800, it is not the most fat of drives but great on some amps!

I think your nuts. I have an original and the silver series and they both sound great. What amp?

A peavey studio hahah. But i used it on my strat and it wasnt half bad. Im saving for a half stack now so hopefully it helps

I think it's horrible. I have the Guvnor 2 plus, and I wear it sounds like ass. Sounds way off. The DS1 is better, and that's not much either.
