Re: Is it worth to tune one of the guitars to e flat from e standard?
So, i finnaly got my guitar back from service man. It's a Vintage copy of Les Paul. Now equipped with seymour duncans, better electronics, push-pull split controls on tone knobs, and higher gauge string 11-52. It's tuned to e flat. Now i can play all those songs in e flat, and i have very fun time playing that guitar now for about three ours

but it's time to go to sleep.. all i can say it's pretty much funny and interesting, i would play three hours more, but neighbours are there close and i have job tommorow. anyway, my first impressions on e flat and a new upgraded guitar

oh, yeah and i found out that the band Budgie plays pretty much everything in e flat as well Ugly Kid Joe, U.S. Bombs, Body Count and Truckfighters. and i really like that Black Sabbath album with Ian Gillian on vocals, it's too e flat. anyway i hope for some good inspiration to write down some cool riffs in e flat. i also try dropped c# and it sounds very cool.

it leads me into different styles of music, like doom, stoner, punk etc.. i wanna try play Cannibal Corpse early albums one day whatever i never listen to them, but i am kinda moving from just one asortement of metal music: thrash. i would like to try some other genres, cause i found it little boring playing only thrash

pickups from Seymour Duncan that i tried are: Distortion, Custom, Pearly Gates and Jazz. next i want to try is 59 on the bridge

and i am trying to get some used Jackson guitar made in japan, with alder body, maple fretboard, finally with floyd rose and with mounted classic pickup of that time, that is called JB .
