C Chistopher malapterurus electricus tonewood instigator Sep 14, 2024 #2 Yeah, it sounds like a Tele though. No hum
Mincer Administrator Staff member Sep 15, 2024 #4 I'd use 250k pots, though, as it is designed to drop right into a Tele.
blakejcan Well-known member Sep 15, 2024 #5 I'm using a full size humbucker in the neck. I think I'm going to use 300k pots as a middle ground. Would this two humbucker, 1 vol, 1 tone and 3 way blade wiring work for this setup? https://www.seymourduncan.com/images/wiring-diagrams/2H_3B_1V_1T.jpg

jeremy LoveMachineologist Staff member Sep 15, 2024 #6 stacks are a type humbucker, yes. two coils, just one on top of the other instead of side by side. which tele stack did you get? for a vintage stack, id use 250k, or 300k, pots. if its something hotter, than 500k might be ok too.
